Entrepreneur’s Source Franchise Friday | A Look at Today’s Franchise Candidates
On this week’s Franchise Friday show, host Paul Segreto will be joined by self-employment and career coach Susan Mell. Paul and Susan will be discussing the profile of today’s franchise candidates by breaking down lifestyle and generational differences across current candidates. Paul and Susan will also discuss the current state of corporate America, as well as the franchise industry.
About Our Guest: Susan Mell
Susan’s background includes 30 years experience as a business owner—she was with her first business in the wireless industry for 17 years, which included four retail locations, 42 employees and $3 million dollars in annual sales.
Susan has had the great fortune to have worked with her mentor Chris Sullivan, Founder of Outback Steakhouse, whose guidance and support helped grow her retail business until she sold it in 2001.
Across the past 12 years, Susan has become a successful multi-unit franchisee, with eight franchise locations and five independent contractors throughout the country.
Susan also has her Masters in Social Work Administration and is passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of self-employment. As a member of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, she participated for 18 months in the Mentor/Protégé program.
She is passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of self-employment; her value is to help people discover franchise opportunities that they would not discover on their own. She coaches, educates, and assists clients in their exploration of their options and possibilities in self-employment and franchises. In addition, Susan assists with financing too.
