The Entrepreneur’s Source: Answering the Call for Independence.
Corina Mack and Amanda Hebert have a lot in common.
The two women are award-winning franchise owners with a leading hospitality talent acquisition franchise. Both were also recently named co-Franchisees of the Year at the company’s annual convention this year.
And perhaps most importantly, both women used an alternative career coach working with The Entrepreneur’s Source® to help them get to where they are now.
The call of independence, to be their own boss, to determine their own future… was a call that Corina Mack and Amanda Hebert could not ignore.
Mack and Herbert were willing to take a look at what was just beyond the comfort zone of corporate America. Alternative career coaches with The Entrepreneur’s Source® (TES) – like those who helped Mack and Herbert – are dedicated to showing people the possibilities and the options that are out there; if you’re just willing to take a look and keep an open mind.
Corina Mack actually didn’t have to look very far. She was already in the field of talent recruitment and had already met and become friends with her TES coach, “I met Mike at one of the job fairs, and we became friends. After I was unexpectedly laid off, he was the first person I thought to call.”
“I came to Scot before I even really knew what he did,” says Amanda Hebert about her TES coach. With concerns about the future of the pharmaceutical industry, Amanda was looking to realize a life-long desire to own her own business. Amanda says Cummin gave her the boost she needed to move forward. “He helped build my confidence. He always talked about empowerment, about controlling your schedule, controlling your destiny.”
Both women have used confidence to drive their businesses forward, not just meeting their goals, but exceeding them. The Franchisee of the Year Award goes to the Patrice & Associates franchisee that truly “exemplifies the company’s values.” That includes having a successful operation, supporting fellow franchisees, and keeping an overall positive attitude.
“I adore Amanda. She is actually someone I’ve worked very closely with and it’s pretty cool to be sharing the spotlight with her,” says Mack. For Hebert, it was an unexpected honor. “Especially to be named with Corina! She’s taught me a lot in the business, and I look up to her.”
Both TES clients went through the process, set their goals, and followed their dreams. It set the stage for a successful relationship with their coaches and with The Entrepreneur’s Source — and with their futures. “The Entrepreneur’s Source® definitely provided a level of guidance. I never would have found out about Patrice & Associates without them,” says Hebert.
“It’s no cost to you, so what do you have to lose,” adds Mack. “The Entrepreneur’s Source really opened my eyes to all types of opportunities.”
