To celebrate National Coaches Day, The Entrepreneur’s Source® applauds its dedicated group of Career Ownership Coaches™ who strive to help people discover the American dream and self-sufficiency.

National Coaches Day is celebrated annually on October 6 and is a day for people to honor a coach who made a difference in their lives. Coaches help people successfully cross the finish line by offering guidance, support and education. Not all coaches stand on the sidelines with a whistle calling plays and guiding a sports team to victory.

TES Coaches Help People Discover New Path

Our Career Ownership Coaches™ help people suffering from Battered Career Syndrome® discover a new path, all from a home office. If high employee turnover and minimal job security are causing you to feel defeated, or you are at a crossroads in your career, our coaches can guide you to an alternative future.

Rather than restarting your climb up the corporate ladder, Career Ownership Coaches™ can open your eyes to new possibilities, including business ownership through franchising. Franchising allows former corporate workers to use their skillset to be their own boss. It offers a built-in support system and a proven business model designed to succeed.

“Career Ownership Coaches™ at The Entrepreneur’s Source® help people who are feeling battered and bruised from unrewarding corporate jobs,” said Terry Powell, Visionary Founder of The Entrepreneur’s Source®, the nation’s leading career coaching franchise. “Our coaches help people reach a point of clarity about their future at no cost.”

Coaches at TES help provide clients with the tools they need to take charge of their future and achieve financial freedom. Their mission is to help clients define their Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity™ goals and hold them accountable to their dreams. They help hard-working Americans evaluate their opportunities, assess their strengths and create a list of clearly defined short- and long-term goals.

Every TES coach possesses an abundant growth mindset. They focus on creating possibilities for their clients while achieving their own version of the American dream. Our coaches operate a home-based business with high profits that is recession-proof. Helping other people fulfill their dreams is a rewarding business opportunity.

“The success of our clients is our only business. We are focused on the client and what is best for them,” said Lisa Gustafson, a TES coach in Colorado. “We create a safe zone for them to explore franchising. If someone interacts with us and finds it’s not the right path, we consider that clarity and a success.”

History of National Coaches Day

President Richard Nixon signed a proclamation on September 19, 1972, to create a day each year to honor our nation’s coaches. While a coach’s performance is typically measured by the number of wins or losses they tally up each season, an effective coach understands success isn’t determined by the number on the scoreboard. Coaches who focus on building strong relationships have the opportunity to see their players or clients achieve their dreams.

“Coaches are highly qualified teachers — in highly specialized fields,” President Nixon said in his speech at the signing. “But more than that, they are friends and counselors who help instill in their players important attitudes that will serve them all their lives.”

National Coaches Day was part of other important milestones in the sports world during Nixon’s administration. The president’s signing of the proclamation came shortly after the implementation of Title IX, which provided equal footing for women in sports. The new law prevented sports teams that are part of an education program or receiving federal financial assistance from excluding female players.
