The Entrepreneur’s Source Reviews Global Entrepreneurship Week 2014

Imagine if there was a global movement to motivate entrepreneurs worldwide to display their innovations – inspiring themselves and others to start their entrepreneurial journey. Well, this isn’t too good to be true.

For those individuals looking to pursue an entrepreneurial path but aren’t quite ready to take the leap, this week is a great week to take advantage of. The entire week of November 17th to the 23rd is Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).  What does GEW have to offer to prospective entrepreneurs? Today The Entrepreneur’s Source reviews Global Entrepreneurship Week and how potential entrepreneurs can capitalize on this week-long exploration opportunity.

The Entrepreneur’s Source Reviews GEW
GEW celebrates entrepreneurship and innovations associated with starting a business. This week is more than just an awareness movement, but rather it’s a platform to inspire cooperation and engagement among all individuals, big or small, in the business sector.

“GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators,” GEW’s website reads. “These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.”

GEW was first created in 2007 and was first celebrated by 37 countries, and seven years later the number of participating countries has grown to 140.

Anybody can get involved in GEW. Depending on your location and schedule, you can participate in an array of events, activities and discussions. To learn more about the events that may be going on in your area that you can participate in, browse the GEW’s activities page to acquire more information and sign up for events and activities.

Individuals interested in exploring their entrepreneurial potential can find a broad array of activities—from local happenings to global competitions. Entrepreneurs and investors can share their ideas and experiences—face-to-face or online. If you want a little guidance, connect with the Host for your country.

The Entrepreneur’s Source franchise is a proud supporter of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
