E-Source Says
As International Coaches Week nears, The Entrepreneur’s Source® is looking forward to celebrating its Career Ownership Coaches™ who took a leap of faith to reimagine their future as business owners.
Week-Long Event Celebrates Benefits of Coaching
International Coaches Week is held each year in May, and honors the contributions coaches make to help people improve their lives and discover self-sufficiency. During this week-long celebration, many coaches offer services and activities to highlight the impact and value of working with a career coach to discover the American dream. There are more than 23,300 coaches in North America, helping a wide variety of individuals hone their focus and advance in their careers. The typical coaching client is between 35 and 44 years old, according to International Coaching Federation.
“Our coaches have been helping people chart a new course for more than 35 years,” said Terry Powell, Visionary Founder of TES. “Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming environment for people to discover enough about themselves to make an informed decision about their professional future.”
Coaches Help Set Goals
TES coaches help people turn their dreams into reality by opening their eyes to the possibility of a new future. Our coaches use education-based tools to help people at a crossroads in their careers chart a new course at no cost. Our nationwide team of coaches begin the coaching process by helping people determine the four pillars of financial freedom. They help people discover their short- and long-term goals and evaluate their strengths. Determining their Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity™ goals helps people reach a point of clarity about their future.
Coaches Introduce New Possibilities
After people determine their goals, TES coaches help guide people as they decide if they want to take a new corporate job, start a business from scratch or invest in a franchise. Throughout the journey, our coaches hold people accountable to their goals and create awareness.
Many people discount entrepreneurship before they learn it is attainable and can help them take charge of their careers. Although they possess solid leadership skills and a strong work ethic, they balk at the risk of starting a new business or assume they do not have enough liquid capital to get a business up and running.
As entrepreneurs, our coaches understand the power of entrepreneurship and the steps people can take to achieve their goals. Investing in a franchise allows people to reap the benefits of business ownership with less risk. Franchising offers a proven business model with brand recognition, training, and support.
“After spending 30 years in corporate America, I realized I had lost my passion for what I was doing,” said Brian McNamara, a Career Ownership Coach™ with TES. Prior to joining the TES team as an entrepreneur, McNamara worked in leadership roles at retail giants, such as GameStop and JCPenney. “Now, as a coach, I get to spend my day speaking with people and listening to their stories. I help guide them and hopefully introduce them to something that might be appealing to them.”
TES recently earned a coveted spot on Entrepreneur magazine’s annual list of 2022 Top Home-Based Franchises.
