Welcomemat Services franchisee David Tabb was recognized as The Entrepreneur’s Source’s (TES) Client of the Year last month at the company’s 17th Annual Conference hosted at the Marriott Harbor Beach in Fort Lauderdale. David received the award because he has experienced tremendous success after his TES coach, Joe Barone, helped him find his ideal franchise match with Welcomemat.

“The relationship between David Tabb and Joe Barone truly showcases the powerful impact of The Entrepreneur’s Source,” said Terry Powell, Visionary Founder of The Entrepreneur’s Source.  “A few years ago, David and his wife Michelle chose to forego a down payment on a house to invest in a business.   In order to make a more informed and confident decision, David sought guidance from The Entrepreneur’s Source and was paired with Joe Barone.   Barone helped David understand the power of his possibilities, options and dreams and ultimately helped him find an excellent career alternative with the Welcomemat Services franchise.   And the results speak for themselves – it’s a perfect match!”

Since launching his Welcomemat franchise, David has grown his business steadily and become a South Florida business leader. Through the years, David has received multiple awards for his success, including Welcomemat’s Rookie of the Year, Trainer of the Year, Franchisee of the Year Runner Up and the Welcomemat Falcon award for year-over-year growth. In fact, David has been so successful he was recently named a Welcomemat Regional Facilitator – helping existing owners in his region and working with new owners in the area to establish their business.

David’s excellence has been recognized by his community as well. He is the Board Chair for the Greater Hollywood YMCA Advisory Board, contributes as a board member for Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk, and is also a chairperson for several local business groups including Biz Perks, BNI and Power Partners. He also won the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year.

According to David, he attributes his success to passion and hard work and credits Barone for the pivotal role he played in his transition to entrepreneurship.

“It was an honor to be named Entrepreneur’s Source’s Client of the year,” said David. “I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without my coach Joe Barone and The Entrepreneur’s Source.   Joe helped me uncover possibilities, options and dreams I had never considered and helped me find a franchise system that was a perfect fit for me and my family.   I am proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish so far with Welcomemat Services and I know the best is yet to come.   Thank you, Joe and The Entrepreneur’s Source!”
