May is the designated Military Appreciation Month. It is the month that brings our communities together to reflect on what our dedicated military personnel, veterans, and their families give to our nation, and how we can show our support.

Not only do we pause on Memorial Day to honor and remember the sacrifice and service of those who gave all fighting for our freedom, but May is the month we celebrate several military anniversaries and events, including Military Spouse Appreciation Day and Armed Forces Day.

Show Your Appreciation. 

Buy a veteran a cup of coffee. Shake their hand and tell them thanks! These are all great ways to show your appreciation for our military members this May. The Department of Defense estimates that as many as 245,000 enlisted service members and officers will leave the military this year alone.
