The Entrepreneur’s Source Reviews the Role of Franchising in Today’s Economy

Franchise businesses are expected to grow faster and create more jobs than the rest of the economy again in 2014, according to research released today by the International Franchise Association Educational Foundation.

Small businesses – in this case franchising – are a primary engine of job growth in our country today. Franchising contributes to job growth, and small business owners are helping to boost the economy and drive economic growth—not the giant corporations.

Franchising is vital in the growth of today’s economy, contributing over $780 billion annually in total economic output. It can also be a key contributor for job growth both nationally as well as locally, and many states are offering different incentives for business owners to get started.

Many franchises offer excellent small business franchise opportunities for veterans, minorities, women and recent college graduates interested in startups or established franchise opportunities offering incredible financial incentives.
